A Trendy Modern Attitude Kitchen Design by Arthur Bonnet

Here is the Attitude kitchen contemporary design idea that uses wood in a modern way, designed by Marc Moreau for French kitchen manufacturer Arthur Bonnet, whilst paying tribute to traditional French cabinet making techniques.

The choice of wood fell on bright ash, with its light and vibrant grain, which is less predictable than more traditional oak. Solid and reassuring, it is a type of wood with a strong personality, whose unevenness conveys emotion.

With this way, a tribute to the know-how of Arthur Bonnet, Attitude provides a breathtaking and captivating reworking of French cabinet-making tradition.

The warmth and emotion of the wood contrasts with the stainless steel glimmer of the recessed handles which use an original mechanism that is exclusive to Arthur Bonnet. The design uses a recessed system to preserve the line of the metal along the entire side of the front.

The island layout provides a very successful interpretation of the design. Division of the space, with its easily identifiable work areas, creates a kitchen that truly makes a statement about ergonomics. With its U-shaped design, the island frees up space for an integrated dining area with a wood and white laminate table extending the worktop.

Updated Looks - Snaidero’s Ola Kitchen

The Ola kitchen by Snaidero has been around for over 20 years now and during this time it has become a contemporary cult classic for the company. In production since 1990, the award-winning kitchen marked the beginning of the collaboration between Snaidero and the Pininfarina Group.

In 2000, the Pininfarina Studio restyled the Ola kitchen giving it new handles, new colours, a new worktop in steel and new wall units, while maintaining the technical content of the kitchen and the iconic curved look that it became known for.

After 20 years, Snaidero decided it was once again time to invest in Ola and bring it up to date with a contemporary new look. The ambitious project combined Snaidero’s design history with a renewed combination of tradition and invention.

The result of the project is the Ola20 kitchen. With a new softer look, the kitchen retains many of its original features but incorporates refined aesthetic choices. The domed extractor is retained and the doors have been given a more minimalist look with the addition of integrated handles. A new worktop support has also been introduced for island units and peninsula bar units and it is this highly sculpted design that gives the kitchen that unmistakable touch of Pininfarina.

Designing an iconic product is often no longer enough to guarantee success. Those forward-thinking companies that want to stay on top of their game have to ensure that their designs remain relevant in this fast-paced world. By reinventing the Ola kitchen, Snaidero has brought it into the present day ensuring that this cult classic is just as appealing now as it was when it was first introduced to the market.

Part of the Cooking & Living concept, this lovely white kitchen was designed for a sea lover. Lluis, owner of the property, wanted a place that would transmit the calm and peacefulness of the Mediterranean Sea. A white kitchen seemed to be the perfect approach. And just look at the fantastic result! Everything in this place inspires one to walk bear foot like in the sand and enjoy the feelings of purity and volatility. Even the table seems suspended on two structures that the designers compared with islands in the open sea. Elegant, classy and immaculate-definitely on our list of dream interiors.
