Tower Kitchen Designed By Philippe Starck for Warendorf

The name Tower comes from the two stand-alone tower-shaped elements. Each takes up just one square metre of floor space but offers space for all kinds of accessories, food and utensils. Also integrated: oven, steam oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer.

Doors are fitted on three sides, while the fourth side is left open for individual design. Opened doors reveal the inner properties of the Tower: integrated appliances in the attractively designed interior which is lined in the same colour as the front.

The interior fittings in the towers are just as flexible as the direction in which they face. A light touch of the hand and they revolve 360 degrees, easily taking up just the position needed at that particular moment in time.

The design of the full macore Skyline is rounded off by elegant chrome edges and vertical recessed handles.

A side of the Tower can be finished, not just in macore veneer, but as a full-surface blackboard – for notices and small works of art

The sink, draining board, tap and hob are recessed, so nothing can spill.

It reminiscent of the style of 18th and 19th century English furniture, with white wall cabinets and an island kitchen color of natural wood.
Highlight the high ceilings in steel mesh, lamps of the same century furniture. Copper cookware is a terrific detail that makes it a real kitchen in a traditional style.  The designer placed several loud and colorful ultra-modern equipment, so its feel is like a modern kitchen.

Updated Looks - Snaidero’s Ola Kitchen

The Ola kitchen by Snaidero has been around for over 20 years now and during this time it has become a contemporary cult classic for the company. In production since 1990, the award-winning kitchen marked the beginning of the collaboration between Snaidero and the Pininfarina Group.

In 2000, the Pininfarina Studio restyled the Ola kitchen giving it new handles, new colours, a new worktop in steel and new wall units, while maintaining the technical content of the kitchen and the iconic curved look that it became known for.

After 20 years, Snaidero decided it was once again time to invest in Ola and bring it up to date with a contemporary new look. The ambitious project combined Snaidero’s design history with a renewed combination of tradition and invention.

The result of the project is the Ola20 kitchen. With a new softer look, the kitchen retains many of its original features but incorporates refined aesthetic choices. The domed extractor is retained and the doors have been given a more minimalist look with the addition of integrated handles. A new worktop support has also been introduced for island units and peninsula bar units and it is this highly sculpted design that gives the kitchen that unmistakable touch of Pininfarina.

Designing an iconic product is often no longer enough to guarantee success. Those forward-thinking companies that want to stay on top of their game have to ensure that their designs remain relevant in this fast-paced world. By reinventing the Ola kitchen, Snaidero has brought it into the present day ensuring that this cult classic is just as appealing now as it was when it was first introduced to the market.
